Understands a short instruction
Identifies whether to select, drag, type, listen or compare.
Kindergarten-age children can practice English, early math, memory, logic, and computer control through short games chosen by current ability rather than age alone.
A good activity for a child in compulsory kindergarten should not look like a worksheet. It presents one clear goal and invites the child to listen, identify, count, remember, order, create or solve a short problem. This way you can practice at home through play, without testing the child and without trying to get ahead of all the first grade material.
Age is a starting point. The appropriate activity is the one where the child understands what to do, tries on his own and can finish a short round.
Identifies whether to select, drag, type, listen or compare.
Acts before asking the adult to solve for him.
The mission is short enough to keep the objective until completion.
Repetition stems from curiosity or a desire to improve, not pressure to complete.
If the goal is not understood even after a short explanation, or the child needs a solution at every step, simply move on to a shorter task. This is an adjustment of difficulty—not a measurement of ability.
Not a list of material that needs to be completed, but different actions that can be chosen from the content according to interest and level of independence.
Hear a letter or sound, find the corresponding sign and connect a picture, word and sound.
to the world of languageCount objects, compare quantities, arrange numbers and choose an answer from what they see.
to the world of mathematicsCopy a model, complete a shape, arrange events and find out what should come next.
to the world of thinkingLook for pairs, remember a location or sound and use what is saved to make the correct choice.

to the world of scienceDraw, choose colors and sounds, drag objects and practice basic use of a mouse or keyboard.
to the creative world
In compulsory kindergarten the child can already manage part of the task, but still benefits from the calm presence of an adult.
Formulate in one sentence what you are looking for, then return control to the child.
"What have you tried?" or "What has changed?" Allow the child to test his own path.
They talk about choosing, trying and correcting — not just about a correct answer.
Short answers before choosing a game
No. Similar age does not mean identical experience. We start with an action that the child understands and increase the difficulty only when he manages to act on his own for most of the round.
No. You can start by listening to a sound, matching a picture to a letter or identifying some familiar signs. The activity does not require full control in advance.
No. The activities can deal with counting, quantities, comparison, order, shapes and models. The goal is to act with a mathematical idea, not to complete a sheet of exercises.
There is no uniform time. A short round that the child understands and finishes with a sense of success is better than a long session that ends in fatigue or an argument.
Offer two options from areas that interest the child and check which of them he understands the operation with a little help. From there you can progress gradually.
Give one small hint. If even after that the goal is not clear, move on to a simpler task instead of solving it instead.
Yes. Zivaro is designed for Windows computers and Android devices. On the tablet the game is horizontal, a screen of at least 8 inches is required and a screen of 10 inches or more is recommended.
No. They offer additional game practice at home and are not a substitute for kindergarten, a teacher or social, movement and creative experience.
No. They can practice familiarity with letters and numbers, listening to instruction, solving a problem and completing a task, but are not a diagnosis or a guarantee of readiness. More information can be found on the first grade preparation page.
